F A S H I O N   D E S I G N

I have been passionate about fashion for as long as I can remember. I threw several birthday parties at which we designed clothing, bags or other accessories. I made clothing for my barbie dolls and would never let my mom pick out my clothing. When I was at the open day of Industrial Design, and I saw the wearables lab, I knew that I wanted to do this study. I picked most of my projects with the wearables squad and my skills in fashion design and sewing grew with every project I did. In my second project at Industrial Design, I made denim jackets out of old jeans and during my Final Bachelor's project I designed and made custom made bras. Additionally, I have tried to practice my sewing and designing skills in my spare time too. I have designer several dresses as well as a bikini and bathing suit.

In September 2019, I will start my masters at Amsterdam Fashion Institute, at which I will study Fashion Enterprise Creation. I will continue developing this passion there with my strong background in, among other things, technology, business and creativity from the TU/e.
