From September 2018 until February 2019 I have done an Internship at Hunkemöller at the department of Photo & Video Production.

Hunkemöller is one of Europe’s largest lingerie retailers1 and has its headquarters located in Hilversum, the Netherlands. Within the company, I have been doing my internship in the marketing department, specifically photo & video production. This department is responsible for all campaign images created by Hunkemöller. We design the concepts, arrange the shoots and make sure every shot is perfect before it goes live.

Within this team, it seemed as I worked as a production assistant as opposed to a real intern. I got a lot of responsibility and truly developed both as a designer and as a person. I believe that I have especially developed in the competency areas of Creativity & Aesthetics, Business & Entrepreneurship, and User & Society. I think it can be difficult to develop the competency area of Business & Entrepreneurship without any real-life experience in a company or with starting your own business, This is why I believe that after my experience at Hunkemöller I have developed this competency area immensely.

My colleagues & company coach were very satisfied with my work. This made me much more confident when it comes to my work, ideas and thoughts.
